It's been three days with this petition on the whitehouse web page and I only have 14 signatures at this time. At this rate (if the signatures are consistently gained) we could have enough signatures by June 27. That is too long. We need 150 signatures to make it public and then after that 100,000 signatures for it to even have a chance of making a difference. I want those 150 signatures within a week.

I firmly believe in the purpose behind this petition. It's because of these "ex-gay" ministries that my mom thinks there can still be a "cure" and it causes us to fight over the whole issue. I was considering attendance to one of these ministries in high school, but I found out a lot of the "cured" homosexuals recanted their testimonies.

But I need your help. If you haven't signed it, sign it. If you have signed it, endorse it through a journal. I need 150 signatures BY June 19 (this coming Wednesday). If we don't make it public ASAP, it'll be nearly impossible to get the amount of signatures needed.
