A question for my readers.

This is for those who have actually read the Agrok story thus far. it has been suggested to me that the story's very structure and social/political dynamics would have worked better if there were no gryphons at all, that Titania should have been humans. Do you feel that Titania being populated by gryphon's adds nothing to the story at all, or do you think it adds more depth and believable situations to the story?

my opinion would be that it makes the context alittle richer and the themes slightly more palettable since it is within a fantasy setting, the "disconnect" from reality makes it easier to digest. A population of gryphons is, to me, more interesting than a population of humans.

I think it's perhaps a bit futile asking furries if a story should have furry characters or not. :P That said, in my oppinion the fact that they are gryphons adds a depth of instincts and nature to the characters. It makes the whole lifestyle and culture, well... make more sense. Turning them into tribal humans, I think, would require rewriting a lot of the environment in the story and would change the feel of it overall. So, yay gryphons, I guess! :3
