Another strange dream. Snakes and Fish and crummy apartments
12 years ago
I dreamed of orange, four-eyed cobras slithering up out of the sink. Startling to say the least, but they didn't seem hostile.
I dreamed that a single little fish in a tiny, desktop aquarium somehow progenated an entire aquatic ecosystem, with miniature versions of sharks and other oceanic fish.
I dreamed of going to ask the apartment manager about the sink-cobras. His building, on the entry floor, was well kept and tastefully furnished, in good condition... but descending down into the basement (where he lived) it was a deep complex of over-cluttered, dusty, abandoned apartment rooms with no light (I went, with my cousin, by phone-light). It would have been a field day for an urban explorer. The manager was a drugged up old man wandering around in the dark and he offered no help for the cobra infestation. In fact, he blamed me for not taking some seemingly unrelated precaution.
Aquatic life and eerie, abandoned places are themes that often show up in my dreams. The snakes are new, though.
