well its actually a bit advanced, i myself have since yesterday strugling with it, is tracing an image but making it into vectirs and a lot of sht involving the mesh tool

Do you hold shit when trying to create a line and hold ( that makes a curve in the line.) If you dont want the image to be colored completely i believe there is 2 box's where you color for your line and the on for you fill is- if we are on that same story..

Glad you found a solution. Keep me in mind for any future help you might need, I've already been where you are. :)

I've played around with it a little bit. Like photoshop, half the time it's knowing when to apply the right trick. AND choosing the right subject to apply said trick to. If your class uses a book to teach different subjects, allot of the time it gives you a good source to work off of. Even if your not going to use that sample source. it usually gives allot of hints as to what makes a good source.

IE: choosing some one with slicked back hair to quick mask instead of trying to quick mask carrot top's hair.

IE: applying a color gradient image to a picture of a grey tone stone statue instead of trying to apply it to a color photo.
