Why is it that people will go out to the country.....pay money to camp at a campground in the wilds.....and then PLAY THEIR MOTHERFUCKING CAR STEREO AT TOP VOLUME all the time except when they decide to go to bed. And maybe for a little while in the morning while they wake up. What makes THEM so special that they should destroy the ambiance for everyone else? Yet the campground rules are always..'quiet time is 10 pm till 7 am'. Fuck any one who wants a bit of peace and quiet. And why do they need this incessant noise? I'm totally unable to understand.
My second rant is this....
why do people think it's fine to rise at 5 am in a campground full of people and begin talking, laughing, banging whatever pots etc they have
etc and start their car to warm it up...let it idle...while everyone else is wishing they could get another hour of nappy?
So here is my thing. Does no one have any compassion for their fellow people anymore, or is it just me, me MEEEEEEEE!
(hint....we all know the answer.....at least ME does)

These days nobody has respect for the desire for quite for others. My old neighbors who lived just up the hill were shooting some gun that would shake the walls to the house. No matter how many times I would ask them to stop they would continue until the cops had to get involved. They finally moved this year but sadly only after the father died of a self inflicted gun shot wound ironically. Don't know whether it was intentional or not. Since then the new neighbors are much quiter and are much friendlier.

Ol' Frank is still one of my favorites. He was a frickin' genius. Sure, some of his stuff was crap, but a lot was totally inspired genius!! The whole of Joe's Garage is not only a wonderful story and great music, but contains some of Zappa's best guitar work ever.
Christ! For the good old days when if someone messed with you, you shot them dead and the problem was gone!
I can kind of understand listening to the radio sometimes while on a camping trip. It's hard for some people to completely give up their modern conveniences even for a day. However, blasting that shit so that everyone on the grounds can hear it is quite another thing entirely, and people like that should be swiftly evicted. Or have their stereos stolen.
The same pretty much goes for the second scenario, too. They just don't give a damn about anyone but themselves, and who cares if their antics wake everyone else up? They've got shit to do, man. These are probably the same sort of people that you see here, driving around in huge pickups with dried mud caked on them up to the roof because they've been tearing around in some field somewhere until it all turns to muck. Or the ones who think it's fun to squeal their tires and tear up and down the road at 2:00am.
And now I'm ranting in turn. Sorry about that, and I hope they shut up or clear out soon!
