Woes...

So all was going well on my college internet connection, until they started to enforce their shitty policies. I was forced to download and install Cisco Clean Access Agent in order to make sure my computer was "clean" and so they can actually let me use there network. Problem is, IT WON'T FUCKING INSTALL! It gives me an error message. Every time. I've been working on a solution to this since yesterday at 4:00ish. Still can't get it to work (I've tried nearly everything imaginable).
I can use ONLY the Internet due to the wifi system here, but the wifi system blocks game connections. No no FFXI, TF2, or Starcraft for me until I can get ahold of a competent IT guy.
Also...
I feel like I'm wasting my college experience. No one on my dorm floor shares my interests. I stay in my room playing video games and watching animu. This place is too large to find friends easily, and after having been here a week, everyone seems to have already formed their own niches, and I feel unwelcome even trying to talk to people. I'm feeling very ronery.

FA+

they don't put a lot of money in to the things they get. Well hopefully that will resolve it's self.
Your noyt wasting your college experience, it hasn't even been a week yet ^_^
I hope you can get things working
its so lame that you need a specific program just to do normal things
and as for wasting your college experience...
I felt exactly the same way. Its easy to just stay in your room all day and only go out for food and classes.
I didnt really even make friends with anyone until the third term and I hardly ever talked to my roommate. And the people all had their friends before I got there, I totally know what thats like. Its like no matter who you try to hang out with you instantly feel like kind of an outcast.
I dont really know how to help, it's difficult to make friends but be persistent.
