Question to tablet users

Recently my 6x8 Graphire 3 bit the dust and I'm looking into replacing it. I'm looking at the newer Bamboos and I'm curious, does it work with Windows XP. The specs only say Vista.
"While the Bamboo does work under Mac OS X, it's designed with Windows Vista in mind; the application suite provided is Windows-only, and there's a series of navigation and shortcut commands available under Vista, including the ability to use Flip3D simply by clicking on the FN2 key on the Bamboo tablet."
While some websites say it works fine under 2000/XP, I'd definitely say this tablet was intended to be Vista/OS X only.
