#356 - What's up guys?
Hey Everyone!
I haven't had a lot of time to computer last week so I'm missing what's up with everyone! Tell me, what's new folks?
Me? Well, last week, Fever came to stay for the summer. He got a job locally and we're trying this thing called "living together without going crazy" so far we're managing. I never realized how accustomed I'd become to being quiet and alone on my computer all night. So different having someone to cuddle and be with and have THINGs to do. I never imagined it would become awkward.
Last weekend Momo (my daughter) had her birthday and party! She's 6 now, and SO big. I am so proud of all the stuff she's doing. This morning, she spelt Cheerios off the cereal box! For those that don't know, Momo has a 90% vision loss, so her picking up on visual cues and letters and stuff is HUGE for us. She also has a significant hearing loss, which was just corrected with hearing aids! (installed on wednesday!) So she's been adjusting and coming round to everything.
Aside from that, we have kindergrad next week and Fever's family reunion the first weekend of July and then driving to Edmonton the weekend after so Momo can go and see her father.
All that said I may not be online a lot, but my commissions are open and the big projects (comics, chakats and ref sheets) are being worked on in the background. :D
Hope all your plans are coming together nicely!

FA+

As for me, life goes on... moved to North Delta (but close to Scott Rd. and 96th Ave, so almost in Surrey) about 2.5 months ago.
Working a manual labour job through a temp agency... hard work and poor pay, but it keeps me going... just barely.
Getting more involved with VHS ( http://vancouver.hackspace.ca ), and a little less involved in furry things (It's great that Star is having monthly meets in Abby, but I don't always feel up to a bus ride there and back.) It's summer again, so I'm trying to spend some time at Wreck Beach. I'm hoping to be able to go see my sister and her family in the Kootenays at the end of July, but it's a matter of whether I can afford to take a week off work or not.
Not a lot going on up here in the interior. If the weather would stabilize, I'd be getting more hours at work.
Certainly miss talking with ya, but hope things continue to go well!
Still having things pile up in my FA inbox, still don't have a job, still feeling inferior, that sort of junk... =>.>=
