Seriously? What else can go wrong?

I am officially done with the month of June.
This morning, I found dog poo on the carpet. Which isn't too terrible in and of itself, because this is the first time Dizzy's ever had an accident indoors in the year+ that we've had her.
But then, she actually asked to go outside twice (this never happens, she never asks to go out) and pooped outside too. It wasn't pretty. :(
This afternoon, I happened past the place where she'd left her present for me this morning, and there were two more little piles, one of which was really bloody.
Seriously? Not only did everyone in the house get sick, and then I broke my toe... now my dog's having issues, too?
Suffice to say, we have a vet visit in the morning, we will see what this is. I'm hoping and praying that it's simply parasites of some kind- at her check-up last month she'd had worms, but meds we were given took care of that. However, being that we live in a townhouse community and homeowners rarely are faithful about cleaning up their pet's waste, it's possible she could have contracted something else.
Of course, this would happen during the month when I've been unable to work very much at all, and our con this coming weekend is going to be a total bust because I hardly have anything for it.
Can I just curl up in bed and sleep for the rest of the month? Please?

Her vet is really good, she's got an appointment first thing in the morning and hopefully that's it. There hasn't been any vomiting or strange behavior (other than the fact that she asked to go out in the first place, she never asks to go outside) and she's been eating/drinking just fine.
Only other thing I can think of is if she ingested a bone or something, but again, she doesn't really chow down on stuff like that. She has a bone by her bed and a bone in my work room, and she'll nibble on them a little bit here and there but hasn't ever taken off chunks or ingested much.
Bloody Stool leads me to think hookworms. I would be surprised if the Trifexis doesn't handle that, but I suppose it could only be effective on certain stages of the worms' life cycle. When I got Callie, she had worms and some bacterial thing... The deworming took a couple of vet visits before she tested clean. I've had her on Heartgard ever since with no recurrence.
Hopefully, it's just a simple re-infection of worms. Something a quick vet visit will clear up. :D
The vet said this morning that she doesn't have any more parasites, but she does have a bacterial imbalance, likely due to stress or something she ate. My vote is on stress, after all that's happened over the past couple of weeks. So she's got antibiotics to get rid of the bad bacteria, and probiotics to replace the good, and hopefully that'll help.
I told the vet I was blaming her for having to bring the dog in, though. When I saw her last month for Dizzy's checkup, it had been a whole year, and she said she never gets to see me anymore. (With Reo he was in for weight checks every week, and vet exams every month or so.) So she jinxed it. This time she said she doesn't want to see me again until next year, haha. Here's hoping. :)
