Fuzzies in video games. I hope we get some nice story in these indie games when it comes time. A lot of people don't take the time to do strong world development. They just throw random furry characters together a lot of times.

I'd love to see something in the vain of the nas-kan world with its magic and mono-race fox world and unique culture. Not even a strictly anthro design. Logic is fun but then again I do realize that a lot of that has to take a back seat in gaming.

One idea I've had is a Secret of Mana style adventure where the partner talks to the player about the world (native sidekick, foreign visitor main char) under achievement-like circumstances (X slimes killed, X time spent in location, etc) having all sorts of conversations and talking about the world's society and ecosystem.

And hopefully with a better art style attached. Great game and great humor; I'm number 11 to full-complete the game on XBL. But I really really don't like the main character's art style x_x Also there's no world building directed at the species in Dust. Maybe outside of that, but it's just a buncha 'toons in the end.
