The scariest experience of My life happened friday...

For those of you who may not have heard...
Jake, reuskay and I were out to do food shopping and run several errands this past friday. We were on the highway and hit several scattered flash thunder showers. We were driving the speed limit (65mph) and Reu, who was driving, started to lose control of his chevy cavalier as it began to hydroplane...the car turned and we were facing on coming traffic, sliding backwards as he was pumping his breaks trying to regain some sort of traction and have the car safely stop. The car drifted from the passing lane to the slow lane and then we hit the guardrails along the side of the highway and the car flipped twice...glass shattering, metal crunching, roof and glass coming down towards us...the car eventually came to a stop.
The car is totalled.
All three of Us were able to get out of the car though and besides many cuts, scrapes, abrasions, some road rash and deep bruises...we're all ok.
it was the most frightening experience of My lifetime...not only to have to face it Myself...but to have the two people that are part of My home and family there with Me and for their lives to have been also put in the same frightening/potentially life threatening situation...I still shiver and get teary eyed thinking about it.
I have many things to be thankful and grateful for and I know it. Many have gotten in lesser accidents and have been hurt far more terminally or have even been killed.
Love one another dear friends and never take this life we have for granted....you never know when it may come to its end <3

I'm so sorry that happened to you! I've been in 3 accidents!
I'm just glad everyone is ok!!!

the claims are in and it looks like all should be covered medically by insurance...tho he only had liability so his car is a whole other story.... but it is just a thing...and things can be replaced...people/loved ones cannot be
