I would say you're lost because I don't have a door.

Did you know that worrying about things can be a self-fulfilling prophecy? It's kinda like telling someone on a bike going down a sidewalk to make sure they watch out for light post so they don't hit it, so the only thing they decide to think about is the light post that they need to watch out for...and surely enough they hit it because they're SO focused on it.

This is what we often do with failure: we focus on what not to think, what not to do, and that becomes our main focus rather than focusing on success and succeeding.

There have been many studies on fear and how people react to it. You've heard of the phrase "fight or flight"? Some animals choose to fight when they are afraid and others choose flight and run away. But did you know there's actually a third response? It's freeze. Much like a dear responds to the headlights of an oncoming car, we have the tendency to freeze when we encounter fear.
