Missing people from FA? :(

General
So i recently moved over to a new account and part of the move was to check through all the artists and friends I was watching and add them to the new account.
While doing this, I was completely shocked by the sheer amount of people who have left FA since I'd started watching them. More concerning is the amount who were people I knew who I was only in contact with through FA. Some were people who just haven't posted in forever. Many others were people who were recently active but closed their accounts with no word or explanation.
What causes people to just up and quite FA? Is it the constant drama and criticism of the admins? Do people just get sick of the furry scene and quite it?
Just some random thoughts...

FA+

1) They're less involved in the fandom than they used to be, feel like they've outgrown the people even though they still like furry material, and now only talk to a tiny circle of close friends. Some of them make the occasional con appearance.
2) Just don't have the time anymore. (Most of the ones who haven't posted in forever.)
3) Went to InkBunny or Weasyl because of the admin drama here.
4) Realized the fandom was never for them in the first place and dropped out.
5) Realized the fandom was never for them in the first place, dropped out, and became bronies.
You should see if any of these folks are on Twitter, too. I can't remember whether you have one.
I just wish when people rage-quite over admin or some other kind of issue, they would at least show the courtesy of making drama-filled "I'm leaving" journal so their acquaintances aren't surprised to find them long gone some time later :(
