Don't EVER loan money out to a furry with the promise of them ever paying you back, whether it be money or through some other favor back.
If you're going to send money, may as well make sure that it's a gift, cause most likely, you won't get it back.
AND, if you are going to send it as a gift, DON'T expect anything to make up for it, or a return or again, some favor back when you need it, cause you'll probably just get disappointed.

That said, I have a friend (who is also a furry) who's going through a tough time and my family has made loans and support of various kinds to him.
If I ever do this, I will make whoever it is sign a promissory note. Plain and simple.
