Help a friend out in need

Hey guys, I normally wouldn't do something like this unless it meant alot to me.
One of my best friends (well not friend really, more like brother) father is very sick with cancer and he's rapidly deteriorating. He lives 600 miles away and doesn't have a cent to get over there to see him. He's in desperate need to help. If anyone at all is able to help him out, either by donating or commissioning him for some artwork it would be greatly appreciated by both myself and him.
Please if you can afford to help in any way (even $5 will help out) it would really mean the world to me and him. it's hit me especially close to home as I lost my own grandfather less than a month ago and I wasn't able to see him.
