This my first time I'm building a new computer and I'm nervous doing it.
Computer case: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0.....e=&seller=
PSU: http://www.amazon.com/Logisys-24-pi...../dp/B000F0DUT8
cooling fan: http://www.magicmicro.com/pmoreinfo.asp?iid=786
mobo: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0.....UTF8&psc=1
memory: http://www.amazon.com/Kingston-Tech.....ds=1600+memory
CPU: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produ.....82E16819103961
Harddrive: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0.....UTF8&psc=1
all total was 600.83 all in range of my spending budget for it that included the windows 7 OEM for it and I will be adding parts from my older computer like my second hard drive, disk drive, cables, and graphic card. I spend 522 for my computer I have now which is not bad.
P.S. I even bought the book how to build computers for dummies and another book.

Looks like it will be a good rig.
IF not, you should check out NewEgg, Many of the parts to specified were a bit cheaper or have mail-in rebates on NewEgg. Plus, if you got the CPU from there, you could just ship them all together and save on shipping.
Regardless if you have or not, many of the pieces you've bought are very good. Dunno if you were planning to game with it, but you don't have a Vidya Card on that list. You have an integrated card on the Mobo, but it's really... Sub-Par in terms of gaming options. Also, a Disk Drive (CD-DVD Writables orwhathave you and an Operating System. Can't do too much without those.
The Case it beautiful and the same one my friend got. It houses a FULL ATX Mobo if you did want to go that route, the compartments for the HDs and Disk drive are stunning, it's well ventilated, as well. Overall gorgeous case.
The PSU may need an upgrade depending on your Video Card if you decide to go that route. http://images10.newegg.com/BizIntel.....age-Calculator
The Heat Sink is important if you want to overclock or just want to overall protect your CPU. You picked a nice one that'll go a long way. I don't recommend overclocking unless you absolutely know what your doing cause you can damage your system if you're inexperienced.
Mobo: I think this was the one my friend also got. Keep in mind this can be upgrade to a Full ATX for your case. IT'll fit and give lovely room to work or upgrade later.
Kingston has some pretty good memory in all ranges. No exception here.
CPU: I also liked AMD over INtel. Good choice. Strong Dard Drive though I couldn't get the specs on it. Still. Good.
also: Don't be afraid of building the computer yourself. IT's really just like playing with legos. Really expensive ones, but. You'll be fine. Just make sure you ground yourself out by touching something that isn't your parts when installing your pieces and placing them inside. You have a big tower and plenty of room to work. And if anything's not in right, you'll be screamed at by the computer. :P
I was intimidated my first time, too. But once you do it and boot it up for the first time... Man! What a feeling!
and I may have to return the mobo for another one because it doesn't have 3.0 ports for it which I think this one will work http://www.amazon.com/ASUS-M5A97-R2...../ref=de_a_smtd
here was the heat sink I was looking at was http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produ.....82E16835608008
It works fine but I may need to go over and check to see how we did it. :P
I've applied the thermal paste in an even coat all over the CPU, but others say a pea sized of paste and push the heatsink on top works well, too.
The OS install should pop-up if you have the disc in at start-up.
The GFX Card may have been interfering with an integrated chip if it was blurry. Best to check the BIOs and ensure the graphic's card you want to use to selected
