Welcome to the biggest national economic catastrophe in American history to have been a direct result of the actions and policies of the governing administration.
Tonight, the honor of biggest single douche in the country goes (once again) to GW Bush, for tremendous accomplishments in:
- instigating arbitrary wars as a cover up for his own personal agenda
- throwing around taxpayer dollars as though this country was his own private piggy bank
- padding the wallets of every oil baron/corporation in the world (including his own)
- allowing federal financial regulators to completely ignore rules and operating protocol since 2004, which ultimately sparked the current Vortex of Doom formerly known as Wall Street
- proving that essentially every committee, organization, and legislation he has devised during his presidential career has been as inept and underhanded as he is
- attempting to screw over the American populace yet again with a $700 Billion dollar bailout plan for the federal financial institutions that he helped undermine, while expecting the taxpayers to pay for the whole thing
- soiling the world perception of America and its people far worse than any president or governmental scandal has before
- passing legislation that invades our privacy, outrageously lowers the bar for educating our children, and basically does everything but slap a socialist tag on the American flag
- completely failing perform his duties as President to the satisfaction of the citizens from whom he derives all of his power
- failing to make any substantial positive changes during his entire 2-term presidency
- and much, much more!

Is it just me, or does it seem like Dubya is doing everything he can to screw things up as much as possible before he's drummed out of office? I almost laughed aloud when I heard that the $700B bailout was rejected. That, my friends, is the voice of America saying "Fuck you, you have fucked things up enough already. We're not going to hand you that much money just so you can make it worse."
Run home to daddy, Georgie... your time in the sun is over.
What's funny is, it doesn't really matter who gets elected in to office at this point; if the successful candidate doesn't show the American people some dramatic changes, and fast, he's only going to be in for one term anyway.
I bet I can implement more noticeable change in six months than either of the prezzy wannabes can in four years. Vote for me.
