My productivity always boosts when I'm surrounded by other people drawing, too. For all my purposes, google hangout works perfectly for this, since it supports multiple people, easy screensharing, audio and text chat, and everyone can see each other's screens, so it's perfect for this.
The only downsides are that it seems to cause lag on old computers (this is not an issue for me, but it has been in the past for some of my friends) and that I'll have to share my google+ name, but if it's with a regular set of people, I think I'd be fine with that.
Your thoughts, please?

Another great way to boost creativity is to play in openCanvas with somebody; doodling on the same page with somebody can get silly fast though. :>
