Some of you may remember a bit back, I posted a journal confused about a chargeback on my paypal account..
I got it all figured out, but I lost the dispute despite all my proof..

Around the end of March 2013, I was bedridden after Gallbladder surgery. So, I took a few traditional commissions to help keep the bills paid and help keep me busy. I finished the work shortly after. On May 17th, there was a chargeback dispute open on my paypal account which I was confused about.. Figured it all out and disputed it. Whilst in the midst of this dispute, I contacted this user and informed them that the work was finished and had been for some time.

I'm sorry, but it's not my problem if you don't have money.. Why are you buying art in the first place if you're getting art??

The world is full of people who need lawns cut, garages/houses cleaned, kids to be looked after.. Lots of little jobs on this planet that need to be done that are being overlooked by others. Don't whine to me that, 'I can't pay you because I can't find work..'

God people piss me off..

Gah, as much as I understand and agree with your point, I must say it just isn't that easy!
After 2 MONTHS of putting in applications, calling, going to craigslist 5 TIMES A DAY EVERY DAY and dedicating pretty much 10+ hours a day to trying to find a job, I pretty much burst into tears every time I try now! My mate has had to talk me out of some sketchy porn shoots and stuff because I'm going crazy not being ale to hold my end of things up.

Granted, I don't go ordering art if I don't have the money, but it really hurts to see someone act like it's that easy.

when I was 15-18, I babysat, mowed lawns, washed cars and windows for next to nothing for my spending money. People aren't looking on craigslist for people to come clean their house, watch their kids, walk their dog, wash their cars/house windows etc..

Finding an ACTUAL job in a mall/store etc.. YES.. that's difficult for most people right now.

what pisses me off a bit is that they are having chargeback problems and dont have the money to pay for the art they commissioned YET they went and got a friggen tattoo. tattoos are expensive. if you know you need to pay people back and shit why go spend money on art for your body? wtffff? irresponsible in my opinion. thats what pisses me off, oh im broke, oh i cant pay for X item now, blah blah, then a few days later oh LOOK AT MY NEW TATTOO! like what? what happened to being broke? it pisses me off. :I

That's kinda ironic that her not having money happened in march, and i just looked at her page, back in march she posted a picture of her "New tattoo" she got march 24th, and it's a rather expansive one, large, and varying in colors, which means it was no pretty penny.

This don't happen only on FA. I am selling a lot on Ebay as well, and it's amazing how many people ALWAYS tries all kind of trick to get the item you are selling for, for FREE ! It's especially bad when the money I try to make is not at all extra and actually the only money I can get for food, gas...etc at the moment.

Sorry this happen to you now here, but I will definitely warn all my artist friend about that user now though. }:/
