wait how did it get impounded? if in differnt state if you still have documentation some place no matter what state they cant just impound on those grounds. cause you still have documentation of ownership of that said car that does not end when you leave state lines.

Oh the car is mine and all that, I have the documentation, it got impounded as my drivers license is invaild and I was driving it at the time. It's basicaly a guideline to be sure your not goig to use the care illegally again. Even if you had no idea that your license was invailid to start with.

like invalid out of date? cause if in valid cause in differnt state then it should be valid in any state.

As far as I know it was still valid as the experation date isn't for another 2 years.

True, however it came up as invalid in there computer with out a listed reason. Which is the reason they took it. :P

You ought to be able to appeal that. Sounds like they might be trying to take you for a ride. It's become a common practice in many cities to shake down the citizens via traffic fines to help bolster falling revenues.

Yea going to the DMV on friday so I can get proof of this. I can't do much with out that.
