Important moment and a long awaited one, but there are still things that the government must fix to make the lives of the LGBTQ community safer and better.

I'm hoping that for my state this year we pick the right governor. McAuliffe is for gay rights and would help Virginia catch up with the other 13 states that have full marriage equality. He's also for protecting the LGBTQ community from discrimination.

I just forward to the day when we won't worry about race, sex, or who you love. We are so close yet still so far.

I think that will happen once humans have mastered space-flight and encounter alien species from other star systems. The Galactic Community will be so diverse, humanity will be, more or less, forced to resign it's internal hostilities so that we can come together to expand into the rest of the Galaxy. There will probably be prejudice against other species, though. :(

And yes, I AM basing this prediction off of the Mass Effect series.

I think basing things off of a videogame made by a thoroughly incompetent company is a very bad idea.
