Minecraft texture pack footnote 2
General
Work has been slower than I would like; oweing to starmade ( https://www.star-made.org ), Starcraft, a chest texture I'm unhappy with, and Mojang changing how texture packs will be in the future. (still need to investigate that).
This being said, I've started work on basic block shapes, so I don't think my current delay will have much of an effect. I am trying to target August, or thereabouts, as the release date for my final (and hopefully top-notch) texture pack.
Big Shout out to the following for support of my texture pack development. When I have a reasonable alpha, I'll let you guys know to test it.

Id love to test out a texture pack!
what kind of look are you gonna be going for?
The concept of this texture pack is to break the design up into shapes, surfaces, and colors, ahead of time, so that when I encounter something new (I continue to explore new minecraft mods) I can easily insert a new texture and have it all 'fit' with the existing pack.
The idea came about in observing Sphax texture pack development. I hate Sphax aesthetically, but greatly admire that it has a consistent pallet and shape scheme throughout, something my existing texture packs lack.
With most of my design being a formula for making a new texture pack, I hope to produce this one at all resolutions from 128x on down. We shall see.
