Of course on Tuesday I quit my job. I was pretty stressed and emotional and I wasn't really nice about it, but HR was still understanding and now I am just glad that is all over with. It feels like I've had such a huge weight lifted off of my shoulders, and now I can focus on my next adventure as well as getting my health in check and making progress on renovations. I've been around long enough now that I'm not too worried about finding new work; I have a pretty extensive network of professional friends keeping an eye out. Hopefully I can find work soon but then delay starting for a month or two while I continue renovations and take some much needed time to myself.
