v Due to a FA glitch I can't remove these people v
My dearest friends
I now have a new group for fans of YuGiOh on FA! Be sure to check it out, let me know what you think, and spread the word! Thanks, and welcome to the Duelist Furs League!
But you see, I made this new league because I'm honestly unsatisfied with Yugifurs and their operations. I want to establish a more involved community. At least check out the page and tell me what you think so far.
I had already haha. Im not the happiest with yugifurs staff, which is why im a part of it and trying to change a couple policies :3
With the passcode system, I don't recall many times that a dispute between members happened about a score. Though the passcode helps as much as a screenshot. It would be cool though.
With devpro, the only issue I have with it versus dueling network is that players don't need to know the rulings to do well. Things happen automatically. You don't need to know your deck as well, not your grave, or extra or any of that. The targets for an effect show up. This can be an experience with more fun, but less skill is required. Which may or may not be what you are looking for.
With how many journals you plan on bringing out with reviews and updates and whatnot, you really will need a couple more staff members haha. I do like how your plan is to be more involved. (Honestly stripes and I are the most interactive in the group >_>). It also seems more ocg geared.
I see your points. My main reason for liking DevPro is the automated rules because it prevents cheating and forgetting rulings. As far as skill goes, With DevPro you don't get a do-over. If you don't have the skill to play the deck properly, you'll fail and have to pay for it. I personally find that to be better, but anyways, if you would like to help out with the DFL let me know!
Right, it makes dueling better, but you don't really learn when there is little mistakes lol. Like the seven wonders of the battle phase and the mess of an end phase, or why starlight road can be negated by solemn warning, cards missing timing due to mst. Devpro helps beginners learn their deck, lets advanced players play quicker since they already know stuff, but I don't feel there is any growth.
But I do agree it takes out some important inconsistencies. For real life tournaments, the judge is a raised hand away. Dueling network, you either wait 30 minutes for dn admin or try to contact a group staff member. Devpro, the only possible cheating is on new cards that might not have an important ruling out yet or something.
I'll try to help out when more people see it. I had already posted the group on yugifurs shout box
