I think my current frustration with H1 & 4E is more the thematic emptiness of 4E and thus the hollowness of H1 - I think Mr. Cordell did the best he could, but the richness of flavor of the older games (1st, 2nd, 3rd) has been - deliberately, I think - stripped out. So there's nothing to build on, no milieu to presuppose.

I made a few desultory attempts to add that back in, but not grokking 4E (and this was my bad, not the game's), I did not do it very well.

I do have a REALLY COOL CONCEPT for the next game - a sort of post-apocalyptic game set about two decades after the implosion of a high-psi society. I'm sure it could work in 4E, but I'm not minded to wait until WotC gets around to releasing 4E psionics.

You're not obligated to play a minotaur, although I imagine you'd prefer to, nor a martial class (although minotaur are restricted to samurai and wu jen at this point), so ...

That's enough of the preview. I'm working on more of the world setting now.

Not really. I tend to avoid drawing the kind of things I'm not comfortable with. I'm sure someday however all this will bite me on the ass somehow.

But I enjoy movies, videogames, and oddly enough drawing to relax. But that only works when the art is flowing. Nothing more fustrating than trying to draw around an art block.

Now that's a toughie. Mostly the nagging feeling that alive is better. Artwise it comes from a desire to get better.. and often from wanting to make a terrible visual pun.

What was the most influential book you've ever read in terms of your artwork?

For my art? Ummm the X-Men maybe? I'm not sure what you mean.

Comic books mostly. Also fantasy art.

I have a Bachelors of Fine Art. So one could argue I've been classically trained. Or at the very least I've tried ye olde mainstays.

Well that was years ago and it was by a friend. I was sorta drawing furry things already and he showed me the fandom. As for the big beefy lion - he pretty much is and that's cause I like lions.
