Pregnancy Update - Home Stretch?
Heya,
Third trimester at last!!!!!!!!!! Just 12 more weeks (give or take a couple) and we'll have a little baby in our home. So if everything goes all silent around Sept. 25 (my due date), that'll be why. Probably around that time, I'll take some actual time off, not this 'i don't feel motivated because i'm really freaking out about everything' time off I've been doing this past week.
It's a scary thought and I truly am starting to freak out, a lot. Those who know me, know I don't tend to freak or panic, but I am. I just feel that there's not a lot of time left and we're not ready and financially we're not ready and the only thing helping is baking. So, there's been a lot of cookies and a lot of cupcakes being made. I might make brownies today.
There's lots and lots and lots of movement now and if baby kicks really hard towards the outside, you can see my belly move. It's kinda cool when that happens in the bath ^-^ Also, we still don't know the gender, but we might be able to find out at my 30 week scan in two weeks. Maddelyn if it's a girl and Michael if it's a boy ^-^
I hope everyone's well.

No one else can do this for us, we just have to brave through, and just think.. its going to be so worth it! Have you booked your classes yet? Mine start in August.
Baking is an amazing idea.. i think i might take to it again. It is enjoyable, and does take up time, and keeps you occupied. Plus yumminess !
Ive taken to walking alot.. even though im uncomfortable walking, when i return home - my mind feels alot clearer. And i REALLY enjoy that sit down~
Just you know.. leep up with the lots of water. Its getting hotter :((((
Financially, we're not ready either.. What ive done is made up a list of things we NEED. and everytime we have a couple pennies spare, we tick one of them off. The big important ones first (try second hand too with some of it) Weve gone through most of our *need* stuff, and now we just have to ensure we have money saved aside for nappies and wipes etc. I think once baby is here, your family and friends will have so many gifts, and that will help out big time!
Honestly, try your hardest to keep busy <3 and your not alone at all!! Im due sept 21st, so we're pretty much in this together!
yup, i have. i e-mailed them the form, but i haven't heard back yet. we're hopefully doing evening classes, soon and i'm looking into doing pregnancy yoga.
Baking is fantastic. I've been putting half of everything away into the freezer for later when I don't have time. I've also been cooking extra with dinner and putting that into the freezer too. We have a lot of baking and meals going on. It's great, although most of my baking doesn't survive the cooling phase XD
I walk a lot too, especially when the weather's good. I'm in New Zealand, so we're in winter now and it's been raining a lot and so I haven't been able to go many places (though I still try), but lots of milos and cups of tea!
We got some of our bigger ticket items before we moved and we have spare money. We got a buggy and a rear facing car seat for $400! (about 200 pounds, i think), brand new, because it was on a really good deal and was exactly what we were looking for. We have some clothes too (gifts from friends mostly). OMG they're so tiny and adorable!!!! I was browsing, looking for a maternity top because none of my t-shirts fit me and my husband's are starting to get too tight around the belly and was looking at all the newborn clothes. It's hard to believe that they'll be so little. All of the tiny, tiny, tiny socks ^^
I'll try <3 and we are. Wouldn't it be odd if we had them at the same time? (Also, you could have yours before me, but the birthdate would be after mine.. weird, huh?)
Be careful though!! The newborn stuff can be too small.. over here, the newborn size is for babies born at 7lbs, which is a little optimistic XD so ive grabbed a couple of them, but mostly the next size <3
Its all i wear XD long dresses with some shorts underneath (keeps me nice and cool, and it shows off the bump super well ;D plus the shorts underneath support belly)
And you dont need to get maternity ones, therefore cheaper! MAXI DRESSES ARE AWESOME <3
