Figured out how to post journals again...
Sorry I've not been around everyone. I have had a lot on my plate and I am trying to find a happy medium in it all.
Got some writing done, not enough to post, but its a start at least. I can't exactly entertain with just pictures, not with a face like a railroad map.
So, anyone that knows my most recent conquest knows that I have a running car now, a 1961 Mercury Comet that needs some TLC and a paint job, and a bit of patching on the seats, but I have also obtained a 1970 Fiat 124 Sport Spider that needs quite a bit more work, like full on restoration. Front seats are shot, wires and lines on the engine need replacing and the engine itself needs to be rebuilt. It needs a new soft top and bumpers in back, and a tail light. New floor boards, literally boards, like wood boards. It needs new wood around the clutch, the glove box (which is all wood), and around the gauges. Also I have to clean all the peacock poop out of it.... The tires on it are older than I am (currently 20). Still looks nice despite all that tedious stuff.
I'm single now, which is nice now that I have time to myself when not at my full time job (sadly not fixing up old cars).
Might be getting an AMC Eagle too, that starts, runs, and drives though so there isn't much to do on that.
Going to be moving. Hopefully at the end of July. My Toyota keeps glaring at me from the back yard... I think its jealous of the Comet...
Found out I like the song "Take my Hand" by 'Simple Plan'.
I watched "That's my Boy" and "Fast and Furious 6", surprisingly good.
I wish I could say I've been up to more, but alas I haven't.
