During the Few years I spent in the states there are a few things I didn't get to do for one reason or another, one was to go see the Firework on the 4th of July and I regret not having done that while having the chance, I also went to the city hall to check out concert and activities and have the greatest hope to get myself a good ol' fashioned Hot Dog, but all I saw was Pizza, Italian stuff, Mexican food, asian food, indian... but no hotdogs :(
I don't care much about cultural change but I still want that hotdog >:(
Dear America
During the Time I spent Under your roof I learned a lot of things about the world, about people, about myself and about you, I enjoyed your culture, I felt in Love with the Southern charm of most people, The many ways you say CocaCola, the pride you put on so many things and that attitude of "we can do it", your outdoors, your outdoor culture, and I still regret never having gone fishing with my dad or not buying an old 4x4. I enjoyed walking in the woods during mist, seeing deer on my lawn in the mornings, and man grilling in the back porch in summer time... OH America you spoiled me with your easy ways and good living...
Dear Americans
I will speak to you and tell you how I saw your land from the eyes of a young immigrant.
Your land is great, you do live in the land of the brave and the free, and after learning a big of your History and culture I believe that today's way of living its slowly turning people a bit dumber and in some way lazier, as well as careless for a lot of things, I saw the 2008 economic downfall and a lot of people loosing their property and overall a lot of distress, I have seen a slow recovery on that, not as fast as needed, but I noticed a change in mindset on many things, I know for experience that media will inflect peoples view of things, and media can be manipulated to make you believe things, In other words Media can wash your brain, well they actually do... There are a lot of things that most people would prefer to ignore and continue bringing bread and butter home with little worry slowly becoming one of Kafka's creatures.
America has had good times and bad times, war time, peace time, and lately America is at war 24/7 with terrorism, with other nations, with itself, making sanctions and doing a heck of a good job being a police state , opening markets and every now and then raining fake flags to get things done... That's why The Kony crap didn't stick for long, I am not afraid to say that the American public is fairly smart in some things and rather foolish in others; while this does not affect most people directly it does indirectly, For one the establishment we (you) put there is the one that provides with education, roads, and other things, But the education seems to be deteriorating more and more, thus preparing people less that they need. Once they get to college, a good deal of people drop and decide to go for other things in life. America suffers from a shortage in specialized technicians, and engineers, and seems to have too much people trying to be on TV and this might sound bad but that creates outsourcing.
The next might offend some of you But I want to talk about it because it affected me and I was targeted. Back in 2008 with the Economy in the Toilet and Obama Flushing the Budget down the drain, A lot of people began to look for some one to blame and as explained on top, The media warped things and gave them that very thing they wanted, The more harmless and vulnerable the better, I heard TV shows, and radio announcements of angry men blaming immigrants for the downturn in economy apparently immigrants had taken away their jobs, particularly those that were aliens, I never though that all those doctors, service workers and factories employees worked cleaning tables like I did, or mowing lawns, or working as cheap construction workers but I must have been wrong, TV and radio told me so.
SO dear america, wake up, please wake up, get up and realize that many things happen because you don't care, or enjoy your inherited freedom too much, when you go to the "W" store and buy a cheap pair of shoes, a pair of blue jeans, your tooth brush, a new tie, a coffee mug, does it say Made In USA? Does it say made in Vietnam,Bangladesh? GOD FORBID CHINA, where was your phone made? your computer? think of where were things built 30 or 40 years ago? when electronics where made in the states, when shoes, pens, pants, and almost every thing was made in factories filled with good ol' fashioned hard workin' american workers... your parents and grand parents... Don't you think it would be great is all those industries were in the country keeping all those unemployed people busy?...
There are a lot of things that you lovely folk don't know and are being used for, there are many things that could have brought heaven to our days, many many things that are kept hidden by that very establishment you put there and has become much to powerful, and much to big for people to handle, but Uncle Sam should not be your biggest worry, There are even Bigger evils controlling him and telling him what to do. "The thing that moves your car" just to say one. We've just been told by a guy in a suit that Big Brother is Real and that he is watching us. the truth is that he Has been watching you and me For much much longer that we though, and he is keeping us dumb enough just so we don't realize of his plans.
The government often takes thing in its own hands and gives a fuck about what you and I have to say, they just go Sorry, we fucked it up BUT IT WAS FOR THE BETTER GOOD...
I ask you good people about Edward Snowden. What is he Guilty of?
