hansel and gretal... they (the witch) never actually EATS people. the witch just fattens them up and ages them saying shes going to cook them...

i mean if your talking about freaking fables frau totenkinder thats awesome shes a freaking baby eater in those books and i own the whole series but the old legend... there is no human flesh being devoured... just her saying she will eat them...

but the movies not about cannibalism. it's about catching some one.. if Hannibal was a rapist would it be consider a rape movie?

when a movie shows a dude raping someone else i would consider it a rape movie... it shows him eating a brain sooo yeah i think cannabal. especially over hansel and gretal since the story isnt about the witch. its about the kids. your doing the same thing to hansel and grettal that you dont want to do to hannibal.

the eating kids isnt even a huge point in the book just that there lives are in danger and they need to get away.

I say Hannibal is less and I say it like this.
Yes he eats some one in all the movies like Silence of the lamb, red dragon,Hannibal. BUT the primary objective in the movie is this:
Silence of the lamb is catching a killer who wears women skin with a cannibal who got to eat people. Red dragon again same scenario. Hannibal is about tracking down some one who is a cannibal. He does eat people but that not the primary horror it is if he gets away.

This one is about Children who walks into a cannibal's home by being lured with food here in the tale it's primary scary because the children gonna be eaten by the witch who baited them with food. Like how a fisherman goes fishing in a lake with the worm.The tale is about cannibalism and there is in the story that tells of human bones in the cage.
