Back from AC2013!

Hiya, I got back home maybe 12 hours ago but I crashed and woke up after the sun set so I guess I'm only now getting to getting back into the swing of things at like 2am but whatever.
Anthrocon was fun this year, but it sure went by quicker than it has in the past. Most of my time was spent at the Dealer's Den table of course with
immelmann where I met and cavorted with a fair amount of people. Sales were pretty slim this year, though, especially considering all the new products we both had made for the convention. Like, only a couple people bought the brand new FH and Graffiti stickers I made and was really proud of. :C I also got less commissions and badge pre-orders than I did last year, although I really appreciate the stuff people did ask me to do. So sales kinda sucked, but I also bought way less things than I normally do so I guess it evens out? Eh...
Thursday was spent mostly being completely exhausted and sort of delirious, as I had had only 2 hours of sleep prior to the 4 hour car drive, with the added bonus of my car deciding to start overheating for some mysterious reason 50 miles from Pittsburgh, causing me to have to blast heat right at my face from the vents for 45 minutes.
Friday evening was spent mostly learning how to play Ironclaw from
rafferty with random people and also Immy and
blarghgrargh. That was a lot of fun and I did like the system a lot for the most part (I like how different it is, although I think it has some prominent flaws), but boy going straight from the Dealer's Den to that four hour RP session made us hungry as heck. Didn't have the opportunity to get drunk that night due to waiting for Domino's to deliver, too.
Saturday was Concession/FH Meet-Up Dinner day and that was an... interesting time. Had a mostly good time seeing old and new faces there. After that was heavy-drinking time and that was a lot of fun as it tends to be. Watched some weird animations on Youtube like OneyNG's, talked about DnD with some people, did some other stuff too I assume. Unfortunately was the only night we all did socialized mass drinking, but I think it was more fun and interesting than the several times last year.
Sunday was mostly just wrapping up. Ate stuff, said goodbye to some people. The big thing we did that night was me, Immy,
toyapup, and
guilmon720 deciding to have an impromptu Pathfinder game in our hotel room, which was a ton of fun for something that was done completely on the fly. It left us with practically no sleep, though, which made driving home super-difficult and what prompted me to crash until a few hours ago.
So yeah, overall a pretty great time that didn't last long enough. Actually not entirely sure I'll be going again next year, it kind of depends on whether Immy is able to go (need to make that Dealer's Den cash and all). I guess we'll see how this next year plays out. I also might be looking at going to MFF in November, depending on how the next couple of months goes concerning jobs and time and funds and such, hopefully I can go to that thing, too. For now though I really just would like to cool down for a few days before I begin hunting for a grown-up job and whatever.
