Monoprice vs intuos 3?

Does anybody have one that they can compare to an intuos?
The wire on my intuos 3 has been pretty shot for about two years now, and wow a monoprice of the same size is hecka cheap.
I've heard they perform just as well as the 3 from a few sources, but I figured I'd ask you guys, since a lot of your are artists.

I have the 6x9 size (I believe) with the sidebar that has the buttons and stuff and they're super useful. The only issues I've faced were having to reinstall drivers, since I swap my tablet between computers a lot (my desktop in my office, my laptop wherever). But it's been a relatively minor issue for me personally.

Ahaha honestly it'd have to stop working entirely before I tried something like that. ;A; I'd rather stick my hand in ants than let a friend near the inside of my tablet while it's still functioning!

I don't think I've seen anyone say anything bad about them, honestly @m@;
