Family friend visit

Monday afternoon a friend of our family stopped by to visit us while passing through where we live. I was soooo excited!!! I hadn't seen him in 5 years!! He used to stay with us a lot and I was always close to him.
This was the first time we got to meet his wife and his children, and I was honestly worried she wouldn't like us.
They arrived around 3PM and we all came down and gave him hugs and met everyone and had introductions. Then the guys went to talk and my mom, myself, and his wife all sat in the living room. My mom and I tried so hard to make conversation with her, and she just acted like she hated being at our house. So that sucked..Then later after dinner I started feeling sick and I went to lay down and fell asleep.
Then Tuesday morning they came over at 10AM and stayed until 12. When they went to leave he came over and told me they were about to leave, so I turned around to give him a hug. I hugged him for a while, upset that he was leaving, but he just stood there with one arm around me in one of those awkward one-arm hugs. I was hurt, but I thought maybe it was just because I was older. He gave the little kids really tight long hugs and then even hugged my older sister the same. I'm so hurt by this. I don't know if it was intentional, or just how he hugged me.
Thinking about it makes me want to cry... I know it seems a bit silly, but it really hit me hard.
