Cult/rare videogames doujin
I have in mind a project for a quite long time. I will try to explain it, sorry if my English is a bit weird.
At first I thought to do it on my own, but now that I participate in some artists communities and I’ve met and discovered great people with different styles, I think it would be good to expand the idea and share it with anyone who is interested.
My idea is to make a publication created by games fans. A doujinshi. There are doujinshi of almost everything, especially popular anime and video games. But there are also a lot of good games that aren’t known to the general public and which there is almost nothing. Cult or/and obscure rare games (Muramasa, Ico / Shadow of the Colossus, Baten Kaitos, etc) or popular but hardly have comics (Silent Hill, Shenmue, Star Fox, etc).
I like to make and collect work on this kind of games and publish them as doujinshi. That is, create a doujin circle of authors with their own identity. Any theme is good (adult, humor, etc). Both comics and illustrations are accepted. The important thing is to gather a good number of pages.
To make it easy, these would be the steps:
1. Games selection. Each artist does their work.
2. I receive the works (I collaborate as well) for the layout.
3. Going to the printing office and ask for a budget (based on the number of pages and material).
4. Open preorder to raise the money necessary for the publication.
5. The doujin is published and the benefit (if any) is distributed proportionately among contributors.
6. If the preorder doesn’t work, the doujin can be published digitally. But the idea is to publish it in physical format.
What do you think? Anyone who wants to collaborate should know that this doesn’t require commitment. You can do the pages you want. If I get the response from several people, would decide together an approximate deadline suitable for everyone.

My initial idea was a doujin about the game Ico. And is the comic I'm working on now. Therefore, we can focus the content of the doujin in two ways:
1. Comics and drawingss related to Team Ico games: Ico, Shadow of the Colossus and The Last Guardian.
2. Comics and drawings about non mainstream Sony games: Team ico games and other games like Journey, Vib Ribbon, Gravity Rush, etc.
Personally, I prefer the point 1 for more homogeneous contents. But we can talk more about it when more people join.
I have some comic examples I could show you.
I would like to know/talk more about this such as
timeline etc.
Let me know =D
