I think I have an older one some where in my closet

That one wasn't mine. this tablet was given. But it had to be mistreated that has lasted for so little in my hands. I have some friends who his Tablet has lasted many years and still work like the first day.

Know the feeling as well except my situation is backwards where my pc was busted by storm but my tablet still works,...sigh I miss using it.

mono price tablets are pretty decent and they are a better price than what most would expect for a tablet...i currently one a monoprice tablet and i honestly love it more than my bamboo the lines seem more cleaner from the monoprice than from the bamboo..i did research on it before i bought it and it was the best idea i ever had

I think a 7+ year old tablet has long since done it's job. lol

It's time to bury the old dog and move on. There's a lot of alternatives now, and I'm sure one'll come your way soon enough.

My aiptek 14000u died on me this year, leaving behind about 4 years of service, and few months ago i buyed wacom intuos.
Is it possible in you situation for you to buy one and pay for it monthly? cause thats what im doing with mine..
