A Few Seconds to Breathe

Okay... I have about an hour before I have to go to work. Will try to make this quick. But carp, my last journal was in November. Yeesh. Do I only get to post journals around cons I am attending? XP
Anyway, been busy over the past few weeks. I am basically going to school four days a week and working five days a week. I only have school for 3-4 hours each day, but I have two labs per week and quizzes/tests are generally taken outside of class. Plus, work is usually in the 7-8 hour neighborhood, which destroys a lot of time I would normally devote to homework, art, and gaming.
I did manage to get some time off to go to Anthrocon, though. It was fantastic! I mostly got to hang out with people I already knew, but I met a few people, too. There was lots of shopping to be done (oh, my poor wallet), Pittsburgh is kind of a cool city, and I got to talk with some game designers, which inspired me to get back to my own game design projects in addition to starting a new one. More on that some other time.
AC was also very exhausting, but in spite of not having a day to just relax and recover, I have bounced back pretty well, I think. I am excited about some projects new and old, and I feel like the artistic panels I attended have helped me work past some of the frustration that has been catching me for a long time.
So, will you see more new art from me? I dunno, ask my scanner. (It is kind of a jerk, so watch out. I suggest keeping a concealed weapon handy, just in case.)
