To anyone that has been following my updates on Facebook, I'm getting increasingly frustrated with Kroger. They aren't doing what the "union" says they should be doing, the "union" isn't backing up what they claim they are watching out for, and I am ready to just quit.

However, being as how I need a job, I've been biding my time, biting my tongue, and filling out job apps.

I now have 3 job offers.

S.A.F.E. Management, which would be security working down at Ford Field. Since this job would be weekends only, I'm going to take it. Not full time, but it would be enough extra income to really help out without being too draining. I can choose which events I want to work and since my buddy, Cooter, works there as well, I'll work the events he works and save on gas.

First Student, which would be driving a school bus for the city of Troy. Very local to me, and the starting pay is $12.48 per hour. I'm thinking I would really like to take this job, because kids seem to really like me. It's a minimum of 4 hours a day, 5 days a week. So I'm guaranteed 20 hours a week. Not much, but the hourly pay definitely makes up for it.

Belle Tire, starting pay is $8.50 per hour. I would be doing essentially the exact same thing as when I was at Discount Tire, but it would be much less demanding and hopefully a lot less stressful.

I'm not sure if I should take Belle Tire or First Student. The bus driver job would pay a LOT better, but I would also be missing out on hours in the summer time. I could also work more hours at Ford Field, but I'm not sure how well it would all work out for me.

I need to make up my mind quickly too, because Belle Tire wants me to call them back by Monday to see if everything went through okay. Because after that, I would be turning in my 2 week notice to Kroger. If I can make the bus driver job work out for me though, I would just need to make sure Kroger knows what my availability is for the month of August so that I can go to training. I might also "stay" at Kroger and use them for the discount until they decide to let me go.

I just thought everyone would like to know what's going on with my life since I've been essentially dead online (except for posting small updates to Facebook).
