I liked pacific rim, it had some flaws but overall its a great movie just to go and see because giant robots fighting aliens is still kind of fucking cool.
also i want to see elysium so bad right now its not even funny
ill be streaming at 9PM EST today, probably take requests after i finish drawing one or two things,
ive been playing corruption of the champions again so ill probably draw my character from that hahahahah.
If you guys wanna talk about pacific rim or havent seen it and just want to know if i reccomend it
YES, 7/10 watch it in 2d if you dont have money, 3d if you do, its still a cool movie that has awesome special effects
P.S. WHY ARE THEY MAKING A PLANES MOVIE RRRGGGHHH IM sO CONFLICTED ITS NOT EVEN FUNNY
(because it looks like it may be funny but i just dont want them running that IP into the ground, whats next lots and lots of trains in the cars universe?!?!?!?!)

So i went to see pacific rim today and i enjoyed it for its mindless robots killing aliens that also reminded me of monster hunter creatures, i enjoyed seeing all the different kinds of robots and am glad that near the end they FINALLY GAVE THE ROBOT A SWORD, like seriously it took them so long for the robot to have a sword i almost got angry, hell even the guy in the suit with the girl had an expression like "you are fucking me, we have a sword??!/!?!? why didnt we use it before!?!?!?" which from a spectacle of a movie standpoint i understand you have pacing and all to deal with. But really they should have been fighting with larger weapons to begin with, fistfighting the aliens for the whole 20 years or something like that must have been dumb...
i liked that the aliens got smarter but theres a little bit of plotholes in it that i was kind of frustrated with that i wont really go into, lets just say im surprised the aliens didn't put up more of a resistance at the end.
though i will say that i am FUCKING GLAD the protagonists DIDNT make out, that made me happy, cause it was more of a HUG ME WE JUST SAVED THE WORLD I NEED A MOMENT kind of thing that i appreciated a lot.
one other thing that bothered me was how they decided to put in a scene where the robot barely touched a desk and a newtons cradle bounced. It was a funny scene but in the midst of a serious robot fight with the last robot thats working, it was completely unneccessary. It was a cool scene, but was misplaced i think really and didnt need to be there. (it was probably put in there so they could have something else in 3D
all in all go and see it because even though things like that bothered me i still enjoyed the spectacle of it because giant robots fighting aliens is awesome. 7/10 would watch in 3d if given the chance
