Happy birthday to me, now enjoy some updates.

So last Monday was my birthday and it generally slowed things down around here for a week or so as presents were enjoyed, festivities were had and booze was consumed. Apologies for really only getting out the 5-Sentence Sunday in the past week or so, but rest assured that things are now getting back on schedule. As I'm typing this I have this week's finished 5-Sentence Sunday up in Word, as well as a halfway finished Day 2 in Hard To Get, as well as that adult-rated story I hinted at in my last journal (for those wondering: no, it's not delayed because I'm shy, but because of the hassle of birthdays and because the ending is proving tricky to write).
I won't bore you all with the details of my birthday presents, other than to say that one of them was Winter Games by
kyell and I'm enjoying it immensely so far. I highly suggest you give it a look.
I am also still hard at work on the panel notes from ConFuzzled and my submissions for Vagabonds, and I have plans for another musical submission though I've yet to start recording as of this writing.
Now, I'm rather hesitant to admit this, but I am wondering what if any feedback people have on it: inspired by a truly excellent piece of fan-art, I have also written a tentative beginning to a pony-fic (to answer your question now: I'm a casual fan of FiM. I genuinely enjoy the show, but some of the hardcore fans and their... creative outbursts, let's say, leave me reluctant to actually call myself a Brony). I have zero plans as of this time to include sex in it, though it will still be adult-rated for other reasons (minor doses of adult language and some non-cartoon violence, mainly). It would be a long, chapter-based story, probably the size of a good novella if not bigger, and while I do intend to write the whole thing, it would probably be of a lower priority than stuff like 5-Sentence Sunday or Hard To Get. In other words, it would not update on any set schedule, and the chapters will be done when they're done.
