sometimes I like getting free art but mostly I want the artist to have fun drawing and have an monitary compensation for their time and work

Oh no, those people the worst. Spending money on buying art, becoming broke and begging people for help. In return they offer piss poor quality art or 4rd grading story writing for the price ~50 dollars.

I'm running into problems of people being friendly and asking me to draw for them.
The biggest issue is I AM NOT AN ARTIST, I always, ALWAYS credit the artist(s) in my paid commissions. How you like 'my' art and never read the descriptions is beyond me.

Yeeeaaaaah. Some people think they're entitled to an artists time even when they aren't. It's similar to how some people will save like $200 for a picture from a popular artist yet won't even drop $20 on someone who is pretty good but not popular. I don't get it.

Well first of all I was echoing off of what others were saying.



Second of all, Pencil and paper does NOT just represent talent or ingenuity. If you really know how to draw, digital shouldn't (AND WOULDN'T) be that much of a problem. Most furry pencil and paper artists don't know a thing about perspective, anatomy, proper shading/lighting, and take a picture of the drawing with a camera to upload.

Which probably means they're underage/too poor to afford any other art materials but paper and pencil/are trying to copy other artists






So while there may be SOME artists in the real world that have talent and choose to use paper and pencil. No I don't believe they exist in the fandom
