Does this make me bad and Question
Well as some of you know, I'm going to be a first time aunt.
(que the Kermit the Frog arm wave yeah)
In talking to my Sister-in-law, it was brought up about how baby proofing a house is going to happen. It went like this.
me: Our house is not baby proof
she: Baby proofing never happens until the baby is here, then it's move everything up out of arms reach
me: Well that would mean a lot of DVD's up in other places
she: Then you'll end up with a house kinda' looking like ours
Does it make me a bad person that I don't want to baby proof our house? I mean, yeah I understand keep an eye of my niece/nephew and make sure our stuff doesn't get chewed on.
We don't want kids, and Brandon immediately mentioned about not wanting to baby proof and I agree. We aren't the ones wanting kids why should we change our whole house to accommodate a wee one.
Shouldn't they be the ones to tell the child no and let them understand not to destroy a house? I managed to make it through life without destroying my parents house, so I know it can be done.
Does it make me a bad person for not really caring though?
Alright onto my question.
How many of you think I'm a girly girl or more a tom boy. This is a slight quiz I'm doing for myself. Please answer and I'll let you in on way as to the results when completed.
Thank you for listening....erm reading.

... i'd say more girly then tom, but not all girly
Thanks for the advice too.
ohh and I would say you are kinda in the middle, not quite tomboyish but not all girly either =P
I say it's what you want, but I did like the idea above to make one room decent for a young one :)
As far as my question, what say you? Girly or tom boy
As for your question, I would say a mixture of both though your more of a girly girl then anything ^_^
I believe that when the child comes over With parent, yes, move things out of reach for now, but Parent [and perhaps you...or if it was me, yanno second set of eyes] Keep an eye on the child.
Besides, by the time the child is old enough to start getting into things, the child should be old enough to understand the basic "no" or at least the sound behind it.
That is your home, not a nursery or daycare. Again, no offense meant to those that have kids, but having a child does Not mean Everyone else has to change their lifestyle/homes and whatever else to appease the offspring of another.
and answer to my question?
