Day Ten: One confession
1. I've got a culinary degree and work as a chef.
2. However, I'm going to school for nutrition. Chef pay sucks, hours suck...someday I'll have weekends off like normal people!
3. While I'm pretty social at cons, especially in fursuit, I'm not actually a very social person. I tend to mostly stay home and hang out with my pets. I'll admit it's because I don't like giving up what I want to do to accommodate other people. (And apparently, most people don't find "Let's sit in the same room together on the computer/watching tv" to be social.)
4. I'm kind of a control freak and pretty territorial.
5. I watch My Little Pony and generally enjoy the online community, but when I meet bronies offline, I usually find them annoying.
6. I'm kind of obsessed with Doctor Who. It's like a drug, man.
7. I'm pretty proud of the fact that I own my own home at 25, but sometimes I think it'd be nice not to be so tied to one place. Most of the time I'm glad I never have to move again if I don't want to, though.
8. Despite not being social, I'd like to find someone to be in a relationship with...even though I suspect I've kind of lost the knack for it and worry that after my last relationship being so bad I may not actually be able to care for someone that much again. I do want a child, and two parents is more stable...but I may just end up being a single mom when I can afford it.
9. My hobbies are kind of boring - gardening, cooking, reading. Sometimes I wonder if that's why I'm not very social, because how many people my age are into domesticity?
