Because I've had a... special start to my work week I'm putting this up.
Yes I know its Wed; not a Tues or Thurs. But TMI time regardless.
Ask away; I'll do my best to answer since I need a diversion right now D:

FA+

F8 is where most of the equipment I own (again it varies lens to lens camera to camera...) starts entering the "sweet spot" for image clarity.
Of course there are exceptions... and factors such as focal length and distance from the subject... I've had a few come out remarkably sharp at f4-5 before.
This photo was taken on the PEN. and Hmm... looks like it was overcast which meant my light was limitied. I'm sure I stopped down a bit because of that...
Shooting at F/20 unless its a long exposure taken at low ISO to reduce noise IMO is just silly XD
Water is wet for 2 reasons.
#1, its chemical state and properties being the same as 97% of our bodies, it naturally bonds with, and passes thru the skin and membranes. This feeling of contact with the substance on both sides of the dermis translates into a feeling the mind interprets as "wet". Think for example, how the water bonds with the skin, and at an atomic level, penetrates the skin.
#2, we are taught to believe that water is "wet". Therefor, from a very very young age, our minds are programmed to experience water and associate it with many qualities, not least of which is "wet".
I might also add that "water is wet" is an outstanding analogy to the concept of not understanding something until one groks something. Ask a 20 year old to describe the concept of life as in living experience, and they will tell you something with confidence. Ask that same person when he is 40 years old and he will tell you that not only did he not know what the hell he was talking about 20 years ago, but that he is no closer to undertsanding the meaning of life now than he ever was... and that he no longer expects he will ever figure it out. The 20 year old says "well everyone knows water is wet. That is a stupid thing to point out." The 40 year old turns to look at the 20 year old and says ... "Water is wet.".
