Oh God, I want to see you cringe in Dark Souls

what made me cringe was the horrible frame rate, in all reallity the game isnt that hard... I mean really it isnt that hard

The frame rate is bad is because you are playing on PC, Dark Souls and its predecessor Demon's Souls were both Console games, Demon's Souls being a PS3 Exclusive, and Dark Souls being on XBOX360 and PS3, not meant for PC, but was ported there because the fans wanted it. FromSoftware is not familiar with making PC games, and so, it suffered...


...Never the less, the game isn't difficult because you die in one or two hits, its difficult because if you don't pay attention to the elements around you, you'll die. You must use your head for more then a hat rack, else the game will kill you, again and again.

yeah I know all of this, and I am telling you it is easy as hell in all reality its all about timing if you can time your dodges and hits right the game is a breeze, I mean seriously I had a harder time with morrowind for crying out loud. I will admit I like the dark foreboding air the game gives off other then that not much to it really

That's the invincibility frames.....Won't lie, if you can manipulate those frames, the game can be beat easily.


However, the only reason you had a hard time with morrowind is because when you stabbed something, it wouldn't hit half the time *Rolls eyes* *Terrible experience with rats, tries stabbing them with short sword but isn't hitting them WTF?*

A lot of games from that time are like that dude play *is pressing the shoot button on one game* OH COME ON I FING SHOT YOU WITH ALL MY CLIPS!!!!! besides with morrowind if your weapon skill is high enough you can almost guarantee a hit and do a hell of a lot of damage, plus more to a game then combat system there is story, world, variation and morrowind makes up in those departments in fact all of the elderscrolls excell in the department of lore

True, in terms of variation, Morrowind takes the cake, but I just find the combat annoying as well...

How far are you on Dark Souls anyway? I thought it was totally easy too... up until the giant statue warriors right before the boss battle with the giant moth ;u; and I totally wasted all my spells on the statue guys....
