Down the Rabbit hole I went
In that window, that pane of glass
I see your soul and what it hides
When others ask you show them mirrors
I know through our time
Your pane is much clearer
The light inside has faded and grayed
In that window, that pane of glass
I Hide my heart in a comic book
You find it strange but it is there
My secret is held by my sustaining air
No one can see when they look at me
That its a kid with bed sheet cape
In that window, that pane of glass
You hold a world all wrapped in shine
The cars they prowl, the people they awe
But way out here I just scream and shout
My day a remnant, yet yours is new
I lay loyal pieces, while your crystal is skewed
In that window, that pane of glass
I hold your future, it is my past
