... did anyone who watches me used to play it? It was many years ago, and hosted by hellkat on RPoL.
It had its own unique fighting system (physical or lustful attacks) and lots of TFs all over the place. I was wondering if anyone still remembered it, and/or had fond memories of it.
I still keep in touch with a few folks who used to play it, but there were a bunch more who I'd love to chat with again if I could.

But now I'm interested in it.
The mistresses were really powerful characters (PC chars who had been in the game for a while), who would introduce themselves and the purpose of the game to any newcomer who was put into their house. There was a lot of intrigue, plot between the houses, and occasionally stuff that took place outside the arena.
There was also a shop (with a PC player, and many PC assistants) who were all also very active and would design/help people get stuff.
And there was a LOT of sex. And Transformations of all types. Basically, when two people fought, the winner would get to inflict the loser with some sort of TF, with the level of the TF varying on how many wins the winner had before a loss.
The combat system was called 'TriHex', I believe. I think VK (hellkat) made it up. It was fairly effective, and reasonably balanced, lol. Later it was expanded from the types of lust/magic/physical attacks to include special abilities.
However, because sexual stuff that would happen to the loser would often be considered 'rape' (even though it was an arena and the contestants KNEW what they were getting into) the fucking RPoL mods gave the game a lot of trouble. I swear, those assholes would start freaking out and banning/closing everything if someone even mentioned the 'R' word, instead of actually looking into it. (Don't get me wrong, rape is a terrible thing irl).

(Even though I know that it was nearly a decade ago, now.)
A shame that it's gone, I certainly would be interested in a mass TF RP setting.
1. While the TFing and everything was fun, everyone was pretty much stuck in an arena. Things got boring after a while when all you could do was just fight eachother.
2. It's tough to find a place that has dice rolling that allows for adult things. RPoL was just barely tolerant of the game, and in fact a lot of cuts had to be made to the gameplay in order for them to allow it. Nowadays I doubt they would allow it at all any more.
