Crazy as he may be, he has a point. The way the US influence international matters, seems rather unfair the rest of the world doesn't get a saying on who the president is. The Dow goes down, the rest of the world gets fucked in the ass. See my point?

well, I love how in each video how a seemingly unorganized mess of reverse psychology somehow ends up making his point for him. Pure counter-logic/anti-logic at it's best. Last year it was "Vote for me in protest" and it got 15k votes, and this time he's claiming all non-votes already belong to him as what I'm assuming is a representation of chaos 8)

Fun stuff for the uber-cynics out there, but of course for most of us, should be treated as for entertainment purposes only 8)

The economy is an incredibly complex tapestry; even the people that wove it don't understand it. Basically, most corporations in the Dow are multinational, which means when they are doing bad in America, typically they are going to do bad in other countries as well. The smaller single nation corporations are reliant to a large degree on the products and services of the bigger corporations; often, their own CEOs have stock in the big multinationals. The truth is that generally, when America's economy is in the shitter, most other nation's markets follow suit. That is in part due to our tremendous GDP compared with most other countries as well as the fact that America is home to a majority of the world's largest multinational corporations. When it comes down to it, the right to vote doesn't really have an effect on these large corporations. The government, especially now after the housing market collapse, isn't very keen on intense regulation of these corporations. Also, in terms of voting for the president, he's only one part of the governmental chain. His economic duties are typically equivalent to "should I sign this or shouldn't I sign this?" In short, for all their promises and opinions, they have little to no direct control over the corporations that make up the Dow. In order for the world to have a say in this sort of thing, they'd have to be roped into electing congressmen as well. Then we'd find Alan Greenspan, split him into chunks, and send a piece of him to every country for good luck.

The actions that put those corporations into conservatorship were a result of a decision by the director of the Federal Housing Finance Agency, James Lockhart; his job was created as a result of a bill written and enacted by congress, then signed by the president.

Oh God, if Japan really is one of America's "51 States," then why am I having such a hard time getting accepted at a university there? I'm an American citizen, I thought this shit would be easy despite the language barriers.

He's pretty bat-shit insane, but he's still incredibly damn entertaining, with his speech beginning with a straight-out "This nation SUCKS!" (At least he has the balls to say what all of us want to say on public television.) He's a damn fine speaker too, almost Hitler-worthy. XD Hope we get to see more of him in the future, if just to grin ear-to-ear at his wackiness.

yes, I would say that he has that weird quality of public speaking about him which makes him just the right combination of dangerous and captivating that only evil geniuses seem to possess. Each one seems to appeal to the cynical non-voter in a way that he intends to exploit a potential which in almost any other case would be considered "lost votes", but this one was done in the guise of a campaign commercial to get a political point across about US foreign policy. Interesting stuff :V

That's the only 2ch meme I know and it sounds sort of similar. Though I skimmed through the details pretty quickly. Mostly just get to the part where it said '25 Repeated Blows Toshiro Cannon' and I lol'd.

"25 repeated blows toshiro cannon" was just an application to spam votes on TIME magazine's website, this guy's name is TOYAMA Koichi and he's a different person. Although, I did make reference to toshiro in passing on my previous journal to explain hive-mind thinking 8)
