How did you find Beige?

I actually had a thing for her sister on LJ for a while in 2004 back when I still thought I was straight, and got to know Beige through her at the time. I realized what my real orientation was and her sister and I drifted apart over the passage of time, but while it was on a platonic level this time, Beige and I somehow became closer over time instead, and we're still friends to this day. :)

I never got the chance to, no! I did talk to her on the phone one time, and video chatted with her sister way back. I've had unofficial plans to visit "someday" ever since I met her, but the last time I went to the States was in 2005, life has been complicated, and my passport to get to the States from Canada ran out, so I'd need to go through the procedure of getting a new one. Technically, though, Michigan isn't that far from Quebec, and it's been a good thought to think that doing so might still be possible someday. Have you?

It's something I've seen various people do on LJ, Twitter and FA, it means "Too Much Information" Tuesday (but I'm willing to extend it to Wednesday in your case since you didn't know what it was).
It's basically Truth or Dare without the Dare.
It means "Ask me any question you want, on any topic, and I will answer truthfully, to the best of my capacity. Go!"

Okay then... Sorry for sounding a little dim, I'm not down with this hip new lingo that all the kids are using on thier facepages and twitwers.

Oh, I only just learned what the expression meant earlier this very year myself, when I finally joined Twitter and FA after having spent years and years resisting doing so, so I'm just as much of another late bloomer trying to catch up by using it.

I don't know if I'll have another TMI Tuesday next week, but you can still reply to this one then if you like, it'll still be up.
