Go fucking see it.

The designs are great. The direction is great. The visuals aren't overdone. There isn't a shoe-horned-in romance plot.

It's nearly a perfect movie, and my only complaints are limited to a couple of physics-defying moments (which I'm willing to forgive considering I willingly went to a movie about giant mechs and monsters), and that they could have spent more time on the other crews/Jagers, but the movie is already over two hours long, and none of it really seems dispensable, so I can forgive that.

Go see it. Just go.
