I'm not sure what to think about this video. On the one hand, yes, ZOMG you have to talk to your children about gay people. On the other...no, you don't have to tell them that gay people are right if you don't believe that they are.
Now, in before the flame war:
That doesn't mean I hate gay people, or think they're lesser or whatever, but I do believe that parents have a right to say that something isn't acceptable for their children, and if necessary fight the school on it. Honestly, and maybe it's because of where I live or that I didn't pay attention, but I really had no...I dunno, moral discussions in class. Like discussing what does and does not make a family. I think the overwhelming attitude was "Accept everyone, and if you don't at least try not to make a fool of yourself."
Overall, though, I think that this whole arguement is just kind of inconsequential considering what else is going on. You know, the economy tanking and our involvement in an illegal war...that sort of thing.
