So I guess an update journal?

I'm not sure, I think I've earned myself a journal after just disappearing for a while.
Updates hmmmmmmm.
Well one, and most can tell this, I really haven't been motivated to draw much. I know there is still a bit that I've got to do before I'm in the clear but overall I'm having problems getting there. I'm trying to figure out where I want to go with my art. But I'm not sure what to do with it at this point, I know I still have a lot to learn and such but I feel that my art is lacking something and I don't know what it is. I've spent hours trying to figure it out and I'm honestly clueless. And this is as well as trying to figure out my art's importance is really throwing me off. I'm still going to try to put stuff on here, but it probably won't be top notch work.
For two, I'm pushing myself to do something that I wanted to start at the beginning of summer. But because I'm a dunderhead, I've been putting it off despite wanting to do it very badly. I'm finally going to push through and start drawing my LoZ fan comic. I've been working on this for like 6 years now and I finally think I'm at a good point to start. I don't know how many times I completely started new on the idea and tried making it better. I think I'm good now! So I'm going to push myself to do this no matter what I'm feeling. As this is part of the whole 'I want to know where I want to direct my art' type of thing. Ya know, I have a LOT of stories that I want to tell. But I didn't want to start automatically with an original concept. That's one of the main reasons why I'm starting off with a fan comic, to test the waters and my abilities before I do serious work. So I'll post the cover artwork when it's done here and a link to the first page which will be on DA. I don't think I'll post the comic here, it's not Furry orientated so what's the point of posting it here? I don't know.
That's pretty much it. You most likely won't see much serious work from me, except for the stuff I still owe. I'm just going to do some stuff so at least I can be active here.
Any thoughts or opinions would honestly be helpful...
